Bit surprised with the comments on image# 2. This image almost did not happen, mixed emotions with this scene during that moment.

Image happened while towing the TK23s kit up this road then looking back at that row of trees, coastal fog rolling and low angle of sun (cone of light) during that time of day casting those shadows on the road from the row of trees. Looked interesting, debated on how to make it work.. set up the TK23s outfit in a shady spot that was a trade-off between the fierce back lighting and workable composition, the exposure was wonky due to the contrast ratio involved, ended up with something like a N-2 with Ilford Pan F plus 120 roll film. There is shadow detail in the tree trunks that does not reproduce at all in the posted digital data version. There is also a sense of the fog in the air that did not reproduce well at all in the posted digital data version.

It is the visual tension in the second image that interests me. The road and its shadows lead the eyes one way. The cone of light from the left edge expanding across the image leads the eyes another way, while the upper branches and leaves swoop down the oppposite way. And all this movement wonderously runs counter to the actual direction the light is entering the image. Love it! Then in the middle of all this madness (movement) stands those black solid un-moving trunks.

Usually the stupid animals maintain a perfect composition during all the preparation and break up just before the photographer is ready to trip the shutter. But here it's perfect. Converging semi-circle of sheep in the foreground; more numerous and visually smaller into the background, merging together, until the fog merges them into the invisible horizon line.

Windowlight test of Plaubel Peco Junior with 135mm F3.8 chrome Schneider Xenar in Compur Shutter. Delta 100 in 6x9 Plaubel Makina Roll Film Back F11 aperture. Camera movements utilized, strong back tilt, which I could easily see on the magnified screen. The camera is fun to use. I like the out of focus rendering with the Xenar lens. 5x7 RC Arista #2 Dektol Omega Dii 180 black Rodagon. F3.8 is a joy to look through

Ha, thank you. I can relate to having experienced what you wrote of, especially with cows. Cows are generally uncooperative. I took another picture of the sheep looking at me with alarm, but I preferred this more peaceful version.
