Austin - Both of the Mt Hamilton images are really intriguing, one because it invites you to step off the edge, the other because it doesn't try to show the entire mountain.

That's a neat image! I'd like to try photographing lightning, but have never really gotten the chance. Do you leave the shutter open, on bulb, and wait or did you "just get lucky?"

Thank you. This was made on night patrol while serving in the Army as battalion photographer in Thailand. Camera was a 6x6 Minolta Autocord, hand-held. Fair to say, luck played a role!
