Driving through Kentucky I saw a series of large black signs with "Josh for Jailer." Finally I found one with a nice background and I asked the lady if I could take a picture of her house. She was happy to pose with the sign and wanted me to know "Josh is a good man!" I didn't even know that you could vote for the jailer. That's great, John. I'm interested in the political signs as well. I found this one on a recent trip to Eastern Washington. Unfortunately, there was no one around to pose with it.

Austin: Thanks, we all might consider more political signage this year - it's likely to be intense.

Many: Great atmosphere in your images. Welcome to the Forum.

A little further down the road in Kentucky I came across the smoldering remnants of a house. The owner had barely escaped when several gallons of kerosene got involved in an electrical fire. 500c/m, TriX film, scanned from film

Great photo John. By the we way you reveal the hose, we sense the struggle and pain the owner.
    Jmontgue, thank you very much.
Once in a while will try to post some more images without being too abusive… you know photographers, they can’t bear a complement without showing off.
