Brings back memories of a great weekend back in 1972...my freshman roommate and myself had a Bugeyed Sprite on trial - a math prof. wanted 500.00 for it. Lots of fun...but for some reason we gave the car back - darn!

I knew a guy with one, he often rode it to Wednesday night Vincent Club at a Chicago bar, they drank, they bragged, they rode back to the suburbs. Then the night moved to an industrial area with a bar, crazier.

My wife and I had a bugeye like that from 1971 through 1974. We lived in San Diego then. It was a perfect place for a bugeye. We sold the car in 1974 when we moved to Manhattan. I still miss it. I like the photo, too.
