    Thanks everyone for the kind words on the previous post - I'll stick with plants for now - I like the solarized look of this and even the less than perfect leaves bending with stands and all.

    Old Orchard Beach in southern Maine. A low-brow popular summer destination. We visited in February and the sand was frozen solid and nothing was open. My youngest daughter was enamored and wants to bring friends for her birthday party in September.

    I like the way the logs point to the object in the water (whatever it is). Very effective composition.

    Thanks John. That is the remains of a cannery or related structure that once existed along the waterfront.
