Nice magnolia! I was searching all over the place for magnolias in the last month and found this one when I wasn't expecting it, and only had my Century Graphic and 38mm XL lens with me. Oh, and the sun had set moments before. So I got really close to it and held my breath for a 30-second exposure. I'm not sure if I prefer this one or the 4x5 one I posted in the Flowers thread taken with an Aero-Ektar the following day.

That's hand held for 30 seconds? Wow. I don't know if I could have done that 30 years ago never mind now.

No it's on a tripod. Didn't want my breath to rustle the flower petals.

What I like about this version is the inclusion of more of the plant's environment. It's ever so slight but enough to know it's not a still life in a studio or something.

That was my thought too. Great job.
