    Bellows Attachment Question

I just received some bellows for my Omega 45E (off the bay in apparently new condition - even smells new!) and am wondering about attaching it. It's not like other toyomegas where thy are interchangeable. The bellows are attached to frames which screw down and then glued to the standards as well. My question, if anyone has dealt with tips sort of setup, is whether the glue is necessary, or if the screwed down frames are sufficient. Furthermore, if glue IS needed, what sort of adhesive is best? I'm apprehensive about contact cement because it's very difficult to get the screw holes to all line up correctly. Thanks!

    Re: Bellows Attachment Question

Properly installed with the frames screwed on, it should be light tight without glue. What makes it difficult is the short lenght of the screws, barely long enough to get a grip on the frames. I use a small C clamp close to the screw hole to compress everything together and make it possible to seat the screws.
