    Sup from Florida!

Walked into an antique mall Sunday, visited the one hole-in-the-wall camera shop way off in the back they have with the intentions of buying glass for my Mamiya 645, walked out with this for 150 bucks.

I *believe* it to be an Eastman-Kodak 5x7 DIY kit camera. There are no markings on it anywhere other than the lens which is a minty Meyer Gorlitz 13.5cm / f4.5 housed in an early Compur shutter that I jammed twice testing 1 sec and 1/2 sec. No light leaks, everything works. I've wanted to shoot LF forever and a day and now I can.

All the fixings are on order, changing bag, trays, chemistry, film, glass, etc. Only question I have is can I find 5x7 holders that hold 4x5? 4x5 seems a lot easier to get here and my ground glass has a mark in it for 4x5

Money can't buy happiness but it can buy a Super Angulon or a Zeiss Sonnar and that's pretty much the same thing.

There are 5X7 holders that actually hold 4X5 dry glass plates. The markings on the GG may be for that purpose.
