If the lady in the photograph with Olinger is indeed Lily Casey then it adds credence to her statement in her book that she and the deputy were engaged to marry. In the same book she states that she and Olinger had dinner the weekend before his death at the hands of the Kid. Lily lived until 1946 and was one of the last people living who actually knew the kid and she seldom had anything nice to say about the boy. Most people who were interviewed long after his death, specially the Coe cousins talked glowingly about BTK. The kid loved to sit around the camp fire and sing and tell stories. He was good fun to have around and the girls went crazy over him and visa versa. He wasn't very old when he was killed. Most writers pin his death at age 21, but I think he was a bit older than that.
