    Fuji GX 617 focusing screen

    Hello,

I am considering acquiring a Fuji GX 617 camera,
some kits you find include a focusing ground glass, some others don't.
It is possible to find some quite cheap focusing glass on ebay, cut to the right dimensions, but it is just a piece of glass: no frame.
I would like to know how the focusing ground glass get attached to the camera: is a mounting frame holding the glass needed, or does the piece of glass just fit in the back of the camera body?
Any experience about focusing the GX 617 with a ground glass is very welcome

Why not get a dedicated 6x17 field camera? Significantly cheaper, with many more lens and use options.

a view finder type camera is more adapted to my general use (less bulky, faster to set up etc...), but in few occasion I might be interested in checking the focus with a groung glass
