Thread: Wollensak veritas 10x12 is a convertible??

Cool Wollensak veritas 10x12 is a convertible??

I read online that the Wollensak I have for sale on this forum is a convertible, but it does not give any source to discover what focal lengths etc are available with only one element. If it is f6 at 14 and 3/4 in focal length, what's up with the solo element?

Here is the page from the 1928 Wollensak catalog on cameraeccentric.com. I had a 16" and the focal length were reversed to what is listed.

    Hey Herb

Your lens was is fast Rectilinear that works at f6 so it can be used converted by removing the front cell. It's a Symmetrical design & would compare to Voigtlander Series IV Eruyscopes.
