    Robert,

I envy you the Mole Richardson Keg. I use three of the Photogenic mini spots, which weigh almost nothing and seem to give adequate light for static subjects (and have accessory snoots, screens and barn doors) when I play around with trying to emulate George Hurrell, my hero in this kind of portraiture. They seem to work well and of course are very easy to raise and lower.

Your model is very beautiful and I hope you get to work with her again. If you do, I'm anxious to see the final result. This one is very exciting and I'm sure when you have refined it, it will be a complete stand out success.

    Great work, sir.

My girlfriend's sassy little niece is visiting us for a week. She wanted to see how I develop film so I said sure, but she would have to pose for me...hence the defiant little pose
Taken with my newly-CLA'd Schneider 150mm f/2.8 Xenotar at f/3.5 or so on TMX rated at 80, developed in Rodinal 1:50 for 12 minutes:

Thanks! I knew that white dress of hers would pop in the waning light of sunset. I don't often have little ones around and she's quite the model so I think you'll probably be seeing more of her!

You treat her nice, you will be shooting her years.

    Lucky you. Lucky girl!

    Thank you Sergei.
Yep Randy, she already knows me as the guy constantly with a camera. She was fascinated by my Fuji Instant film and all the chemicals in my darkroom (and also my vinyl record player!). My younger relatives are far away and don't visit often so it's nice to have a young subject around for a little while.

The kids love analog, just as I was fascinated by my wire recorder, 78 record cutter and 1 tube radio station. I had all that old junk when I was 11. Wire recorders are really neat, as is all analog stuff.

    Serghiei
Very good light and contrast !

BTW : does this Xray film have a good "acute" grain ?
    or does it have a micro-blur ?

    thank you
