    Packard Shutter Material?

Does anyone know what material they used to build the blades? I have an Ilexexpo that I need to fabricate a new blade.

I recommend you contact the Packard Shutter Company. The owner, Reno Farinelli, has the materials and the ability to cut out a new shutter blade by hand. He's a great person to talk with, and he certainly enjoys working on Packard-type shutters. He just re-built a Packard Shutter for me, and the price was quite reasonable.

Thanks Keith - so much for a "quest" though!

Reno Farinelli said he sometimes cuts out new shutter blades with a pair of scissors. You might inquire if you could buy the material from him so you could cut it out yourself.
