Architecture Photography on a Horseman LD...

I would like to use a lens to do architecture projects on my Horseman LD for Nikon mount.

This is what I know so far. I have rented a Schneider 28mm f/2.8 Digitar lens and it works well on the Horseman LD setup.

The trial that I have done so far are here, here and here

I rented the Schneider lens from Calumet LA.

The Schneider 28mm f/2.8 Digitar Lens with Copal 0 Shutter is made for a MF Digital back with the dimensions of 36x48 format. As a Full Frame DSLR is 36x24, I am wondering whether is it possible to use the Schneider 24mm f/5.6XL made for MF digital back that has got those same dimensions for my Horseman LD?

Just would like to hear the more professional users on whether do they think its possible.

Doesnt seem to be any reason why either lens wouldn't work well, both have 60mm image circles and are designed for 24x48 sensors so you can always go with a smaller 24x36 FX sensor.

I can't imagine that you'd sacrifice anything with a proper tilt-shift lens if all you're using is a FX camera. Based on your samples of what you want to shoot, the mobility and speed of the SLRs lens would be helpful.

Thanks Otto for your thoughts and insight.

The reason why I am researching this is because for one, I get more movements than a tilt/shift lens. I feel that I can get better images with that level of flexibility and able to shoot at larger f/stops as maximum detail is more preferable for Architecture Photography. As for speed, I don't really need to shoot fast as most shots are static but I would agree with you on the question of mobility. The question about mobility would be a hassle that I am willing to live with.
