Budget lens to cover 11x14...Paging Jim Galli or any one else?

Looking for a cheap lens to cover 11x14. Don't care to much about movements as this is going on a box camera. Any specials out there?

Also, can anyone point me to some info on using lith film in camera for continuious tone?

    thanks,

Got just what ya need. A 15" Ilex process Paragon. Worth about $65 bucks. The film you need is from Freestyle Photo. APHS is the best but APH is OK too if the other doesn't come in 11X14. Try developing in very diluted Dektol with a red light on to watch what it's doing. Time how long it takes for the image to "come up" and then go that times 4. Other excellent lenses are 270 and 300 Rodenstock Gerogon, and some others I'll think of later.

Does the JML 8 1/4" cover? It's claimed to but it's only 210mm.

No, misses by quite a bit. One of the sharper 210's though and certainly covers 8X10 VERY nicely. 260 Konica Hexanon GRII will though.

I'm hoping to make a box camera to. But was hoping for 6"x15". If my math is right that's 410mm with no movements. 6x12 would be 340mm. I expect to use paper.

You might also try to find a 21 1/4" Copying Ektanon. They are pretty cheap on eBay (seen them go for $25-$50) and should cover 11x14.

The Agfa Gevaert Super-Intergon S 305mm f/9 will cover 11X14 with quite a bit of movement. Very similar in performance to the 305 mm f/9 G-Claron.

A 480mm Artar in barrel should only cost you around $200.

If you are in the cooking busines, try and make your P.O.T.A soup or the better one, the XR developer. You can play with the film speed and contrast allmost as with regular film. You can find the formula on the net and if not mail me and i will send it over. Yuval
