Stone, no, Portra 400 handles itself just fine without any help. I get great images even when I don't meter as well or when I mess up reciprocity failure calculations. By the way, to follow up on the earlier discussion of the Portra data in the Reciprocity Timer iOS app - my friend dukeku told me it's my data that he himself sent to the author of the app after I made the thread about the data

Oh that's right! I don't shoot Portra and I always forget kodak didn't provide Reciprocity data, that's cool if it's your info,8 trust it now knowing that, though depends how you meter as well...
I use it for all my long exposure info, and macro work where bellows favors come into play.
On a side note, he's going to include my confirmed data for EFKE IR820 reciprocity info I gave him which I'm excited about in Version 3, though I haven't tested Rollie IR so it's just EFKE info going to be included.
