Thread: Show Me Your Night Shots!

Re: Show Me Your Night Shots!

Four hour exposure of a hut in New Zealand on Provia 100 slide film, unfortunately patchy cloud and a nearly full moon meant that I didn't get the star trails I was looking for.

This was a 60 second exposure inside another hut by candle light, also on Provia.

This isn't what it appears to be, it's the China pavilion at the 1982 Worlds Fair in Knoxville TN near where I live. I originally shot it on 5x7 Ektachrome but decided to make a B&W out of it.

This is nice. Not sure if it feels like some sort of Japanese horror film, or a nice quiet suburbia.

Not really late night but more blue hour shots. Too bad the second one shows some camera shake and a couple of raindrops on my lens

Both images were shot on the Chamonix alpinist X 8x10 with Schneider 150mm lens, developed and scanned at home on a flatbed.

Thanks very much. I need to re-visit this negative in the darkroom and see if I can produce a silver-gelatin print that's close to the scanned one on the screen.

Used to drive Grizzly Peak to work every day. Has to be one of the best commutes anywhere! Miss the Bay Area so much.
