    Sometimes the tilt/shift is kinda gimmiky and overdone but it WORKS for this shot! Very nice..

    Thanks Eric! I love the look of t/s with fireworks. For me it makes the image become dream-like, and more akin to a memory rather than just "real life."

    Our annual "Lighting of the Square" event here in Dahlonega. 3, 2, 1, lights! But only half the tree came on. Oops! A couple minutes later they fixed it. Here's the "Second Try" - 2 minute exposure. I wanted to get people milling about with some blurriness and such so this worked exactly as I hoped. There was a zillion folks there - our little town is in the top 3 destinations in the state, but it's easy to forget day-to-day until you see thousands of folks packed into the square.
