Hi there. If bluish after fixer then you have some residual developer left. Make sure you rinse it pretty good after development and before fixing. Oh and after fixing ;-)

Gosh Tri, for such magnificent work, you really need to find better looking models . . .
5x6 with new 7x11 Eastman No. 2 camera and Dallmeyer 3D lens. I'm pretty happy with the wide range of tones, some lanterns are green, some red, some nickle. Wetplate can do quite well, but it takes some work!

Beautiful tonalities, Garrett! Your collodion must be in its prime! I'm surprised that the red lanterns didn't come out almost black, but different reds do different things, I'm guessing based on the chemical structure reflecting the UV light...

Thanks all. Mark, the middle rear one is red topped, as is the hidden one. I think the chemistry is about optimal right now. I've been keeping it in the refrigerator, something I never did before, and that extends the window by about 1-2 months.
