    Re: Violin

    An image with a violin...

It was taken such a long time ago: Most likely Kodak E-100, either a Fujinon 150mm or 210mm lens.
  2. Re: A funny thing happened with my 'quest' for a new scanner...

Here is a sample side-by-side comparison of Vuescan vs my very old Powercolor. (it is not meant as a 'test' between the two software).

    And:

    A not-so-local member has been in constant-emailing-mode...

I own a 13 year old Umax PowerLook 3000 using PowerColor software. (Still works...). Although I've never been happy with the (lack of) sharpness

    Hey Greg,

THANK YOU for the offer. However, I wanted to find someone local for this test.

Epson V750 or 10000XL in Atlanta?

    Hey Everyone,

I would like to do an A/B test of the V750 OR 10000XL from one of my 6x7 and 4x5.

Is there anyone in/near Atlanta that would like to help?

    THANKS...

How to test negative film developer?

    Hey Everyone,

My local Costco (which has been great with digital prints, really!) is able to process C-41 120 format roll film. I want to try a 'test' roll first.

    I recall reading years ago,...

    Re: post "doorways/entrances"

    Hey Venchka,

It's the building complex (on Peachtree St) that Galerie Simonne Stern was located. The office suite (with red walls) was the Gallery's office overlooking Peachtree St.

    Re: More Polaroid Portraits

Frank, you said: 'Polaroid Type 55 does something different with the middle tones for sure, not just skintones. A moot point, you won't find any for less than $300 a box and that's out-dated!'
