In general, bellows draw for telephoto lenses is about 2/3 the nominal focal length, give or take a few mm.

A Wista Copal Press shutter will stay fully open when the preview lever is used. On a regular Copal shutter, the aperture can be altered when the preview lever is used for focusing.

My mistake. The front of the hood must be parallel to the film plane. If necessary, barn doors may be used for maximum efficiency in blocking stray light.

  28. Re: Found this gem, curious if anybody can brand it?

  31. Re: Lens boards for Wista 45D - same as Technica?

    2. I found the center of the...
  32. Re: Lens boards for Wista 45D - same as Technica?

  35. Re: Lens boards for Wista 45D - same as Technica?

I can only reiterate that Linhof and Wista cameras are designed to use lens boards with holes offset downwards, and that such boards center the image on the film. The standard lens boards...
  36. Re: Lens boards for Wista 45D - same as Technica?

This is not correct. Unlike other cameras, Wista and Linhof Technika cameras need the offset to center the lens on the negative. Why the offset is needed is apparent from the design of these cameras....
  37. Re: Can I remove the lens panel section easily from the various Toyo rail cameras?
