very well composed! Worth hanging on a wall.
Well, I sold mine ----I seldom needed it and agree with Sergey T
Recently I started keeping a check list with each bag. I have three bags/cases with cameras -two 4x5's and one 6x9. The lenses have all been adapted to fit the all three cameras plus filters.

My go to camera is still my Busch Pressman Model D. If necessary, I will pull out my Sinar but that hasn't happened too many times.
I am not about to buy or make a camera that does not have some sort of focusing mechanism other than sliding the standards. That is a killer for me.
I usually use collapsible hoods for my lenses but also use the Cokin size "P" lens hood system and stack the hoods as needed depending on the focal length of the lens when in the field with Sinar F2....
Great use of a long focus lens.
You can point a laser at something (not a person or animal) and focus on that. Actually you can do that at several places in the scene for near and far.
Sometimes, of course, rear tilt must be used if there is no excess coverage of the lens.
Yes, it is possible. Depends at lot on the bellows material and how close it is to the light going through the lens. Even film reflects some light back towards the bellows and lens so it can't be...
I have several large format cameras but my go to camera is my Busch Pressman 4x5 with the Rodenstock Sironar-N 135/5.6 lens. I own a Sinar and other press cameras but find the Busch is the fastest...
I feel like it will. At least that is what I have used and does the job.
As otto.f says above: "There is no perfect camera." All are compromises of one kind or another. Currently, I use in 4x5 a Busch Pressman (with working rangefinder), Sinar F2, and a Wanderlust...
I have used my Busch Pressman 4x5 several times for groups at family get togethers. The rangefinder speeds up the process considerably. Trying to get 10 to 50 people including children to pose for...
That is great, Austin!
If they tested them again then the Sinar branded lenses should at least meet Rodenstock's standards.
One week in a ziplock bag with desiccant caused the focus helical to be easy to turn again. I plan to store the camera and lens that way from now on.
Ben, I really appreciate all the effort you guys put into the Travelwide. Glad to hear from you.
The focus helical of my Travelwide moved very easily this summer. Yesterday, when verifying the meter/feet question and I noticed that it is much harder to focus. The only difference is that it is...
The focus is in meters. Goes to .55 meters minimum focus.
I usually set mine to 8 meters and leave it for most shots.
Kodak Ektar 100mm/6.3 Widefield was frequently used in the past.
As to 210 mm lenses none of the newer ones will work that I am aware of. The 203/7.7 Kodak Ektar has a excellent reputation.
Corran, Very good images. I have a miniature Crown Graphic with a couple of good 100/105 lenses and also the 65/8. Excellent combo to carry when flying.
I have seen it mentioned in the past somewhere -- You may want to try acetone or nail polish remover. Just a small drop.

Please carry on!"
Totally agree!
Sounds like you solved you problem. Good price on the finder.
Nikon 90/8 also covers with no problems other then the normal light fall off.
Suggestion: Investigate if this shoe is the one that uses Graflex viewfinders. If so you can put one of those on the camera and purchase front inserts for different focal length lenses. I have...
The app I use is the Lumu. It has both spot and averaging and many other features. Spot doesn't seem to be 1 degree but that is fine for my purposes.
Very simple to use. My down load was free but...
BTW, my light meter app has a spot meter function plus averaging etc.
I have found that a lightmeter app on my phone is very useful.
The opening is about 52mm and the ground glass back can't be removed.
I use Nikon 90/F8, Rodenstock 135/f5.6, and a Fujinon A 240/F9 lenses on mine (among others) and don't feel limited.
Easily offended. I would have put a ridiculous price on the whole lot and then suggested that anyone contact the seller if they wanted anything particular.

It's also handy when traveling on foot with others and/or you don't have time to set up a tripod.
I have purchased several items from Mercury Camera and am satisfied. However, it has been a real pain FOR ME to figure out how and where to order things from them.
That said, the Travelwide is a...
I last used my Busch Pressman's rangefinder for a impromptu group photo. Frame, focus, shoot (after cocking the shutter of course.) Otherwise, I use the ground glass and the few movement it has as...
