    Re: Nudes tiny format

Good work! I agree with Peter, I really like how the shadow compliments her.
  2. Re: CatLABS X film, from Freestyle - any user information?

There are plenty of examples, with different developers, in the links in post #6, of said thread. I think they provide a reasonable idea of "how it actually performs."
  3. Re: CatLABS X film, from Freestyle - any user information?

Here's a link to another thread, that I though was interesting, and has some of the information, for which you're looking.

They're cute! How'd you get them told still? I have trouble getting my two dogs to still enough for a 35mm SLR...that has autofocus!

    Re: 35mm and digital infrared

It's been awhile since I've posted any images, so here's an image from summer of 2018. Nikon F100, Nikkor 35-70mm lens with orange 16 filter, and FPP InfraChrome film.

  10. Re: A Little Bird Told Me... (Kodak news)

I hope the 120 and 4x5 news is true. As far as the 8x10, may be Canham Cameras can do special orders?

Wow, I'd love to see a drum scan of that image! Can you still get 11" x 14" Provia 100F?
  13. Re: Found a good shutter repair person

I will second Mike! He has done some work for me, too. The results were great, and his prices, very reasonable. He was more than willing to discuss my repair on the phone, and I would certainly do...

Re: What did you compose at Waters Edge?

I really like this image. I'm drawn to the curves and textures of the pier. The water and background allow to you "place" it, without being distracting, and the clouds add some interest without being...

+1 Photograph for yourself, first and foremost. If others like/love your work, so much the better.

Re: In Memory of Bruce Barlow

I cannot believe that I somehow missed this news. I only "knew" Bruce through his forum posts and his playing the role of host and "question asker," in Fred Picker's printing video. I miss his posts....

I really like this one. I think the splash of red in the foreground sets it off.

    Re: Old Things,Farms,Barns,Buildings, Plus

Nice job, it is well to have a photograph while the barn and silos are still standing. I "have a thing" for old barns and farms.

    Re: Photographs of Historic Buildings

Nice work, I find cemetery images interesting, especially combined with Victorian themes and architecture.

  27. Re: Post Your Photos Made At Close Distance

I really enjoy images like this. They're deceptively simple, when you first see them, but when you see them, they become quite complex. I wish I had the "eye" for finding and/or composing them.
