  1. Re: Linhof Technika III... Double Headed Rangefinder Cam...

Interesting. I wasn't aware that these double-headed beasts were out there.

I've never used an III, and I don't know how well these older cams worked. My assumption is the flat faced ends were...
  2. Re: Advice on lens with Cleaning marks on the Front optical element

That's a tricky one. The only reason to buy a 135 Planar would be for extreme optical performance and speed. The downside is that it barely covers 4x5, so in other respects it's not a good choice...

That's the ideal way to do it for maximum life.

Keep in mind that if you open the powder and only use a small amount, the remaining powder will now be exposed to air and humidity, and will likely...

That's a good point. Light meters are expensive, but just get in the way after you've taken a reading. Easy enough to put down somewhere and forget about in the "decisive moment".

    Re: D-76; Mixing Small Batch?

No, I wouldn't split up prepackaged powder developer. D76 is cheap and has a reasonably good shelf life. A gallon package probably cost about the same as 2 sheets of 4x5 film, so it's a false...

By lid, are your referring to the main screw-on lid, or the cap over the fill hole opening?

  14. Re: How the Linhof Technika became Super…

  21. Re: Can someone identify this focusing accessory?
