Really interesting Austin - especially the second, with the light behind the water stream.

Re: Lenses for landscape w 4x5 camera

All depends on how you see and what you shoot...90mm is more or less a "normal" lens in my eye. I rarely use anything longer than 150mm, and some days I'll shoot an entire day with just a 47mm or...

Nice one Eric. Were you up on the road or down the hill by the fence? I'd love to actually get in there, closer. I haven't been over there when the light was any good.

Re: RA-4/color darkroom printing in 2021

Darkroom printing (be it b&w or color) is a handmade, directly involved process, and digital prints of any sort are simply not.

Gotcha. Still not sure what the issue could be. My two bulbs above the developer aren't causing issues (with Fuji HR-U as well).

Re: safe haven for tiny formats

Wow! I can't imagine. You know I'm slumming it a bit with my 36-year-old C8 (I can see its failings when doing very DSO imaging), but I paid all of $400 for it along with accessories. I'm currently...

Two things. First, many of us are using that exact LED light, but not getting fogging. The only fogging I've ever had was from a traditional safelight too close to the film. I'm not sure what could...

The literal riskiest thing to do in 2021 is buying anything with a money order.

NEVER pay via money order, unless you are willing to lose that money.
