Re: kodak Tmax RS developer formula

I once switched to non-RS TMax developer for sheet film due to difficulties getting RS. Even with distilled water I somehow managed to get dichroic fogging.....YMMV

    Re: My 90mm Angulon arrived

Lighter fluid might free it up in the short term....I've used it in an emergency on a Synchro-Compur. Run a drop down the back of the cocking lever and try to work it.

    Devere 515 lift pins

Just bringing my Devere 515 enlarger out of storage and into its new home and I've mislaid a few small parts.

Can anybody give me the dimensions of the head lift pins for the 515?

    I'm not sure...

    Re: 360mm Lenses for 8x10

Ages ago I bought a new 350/11 Schneider Apo Tele Xenar (not really a telephoto lens) which is surprisingly light in a Copal 1 and easy to use on a wooden 8x10. Despite being f/11 it is easy enough...

  15. Re: Focusing/composing graflok back for Cambo Wide 470

Often a complete Cambo monorail such as SC, SCX, etc, can be has for relatively little money these days. This would give you other parts to possibly sell to offset the outlay.

Thanks Bob it's the square one I need. I've found the reference by looking inside. Seems I need a Bulgin PX0770 6A plug (the socket is a Bulgin P780).

One more question.....what do you call the plug type for the socket on the back of Nocon to connect the enlarger, and does anybody know of a source for them?

    240v Nocon timer in USA?

  23. Re: Cambo Wide DS - does it work with XL lenses only?

I agree that the lens panel for this was usually "short" regardless of lens and the flange focal distance was made up by an appropriate rear spacer.

  26. Re: materials question: inox or pvc for stuff into contact with darkroom chemicals?

Some sink manufacturers are using polypropylene instead of PVC now (I'm told it doesn't go as brittle or rigid with age and exposure to chemicals). Not sure if that is any easier to work with?
