Re: safe haven for tiny formats

It looks like the curved windshield and big bumped front lid, so probably a Super Beetle about 71-73 or so. If thatís correct, the front bumper is either not original or has been modified.

Re: DIY Wehman Not for Profit

I had to work a long time to figure out the rear swing works. You lock one side, I forget which, then adjust the other to get the effect you want. It works, but it’s so different I don’t care for it.

I was able to get a plenum from an old commercial nitrogen burst system. Itís made for a 3.5 gallon tank and works well with that. It is simply a rather rigid plastic tubing formed into a...

    Re: LED Safelight options?

Adox makes a red led safelight in 230v. Mirko says they are looking into making it in 110v. They recommend it for working with their new Polywarmtone emulsion.
  10. Re: Is it possible to practice the art of "seeing"?

As a musician I learned that practice is practice and performance is performance. In practice you set something to improve on and then work out ways to improve. Some of that is experimentation. ...

Re: Looking for feedback on images...

For the most part, increasing development time makes the whites whiter. The blacks are determined by exposure. That’s a general rule - there are a lot of subtle variations.
  21. Re: Use of X-ray film: technical discussion with example images

I use a nitrogen burst system. When the nitrogen bursts, the movement of the developer is very vigorous- even violent.
  22. Re: Best material to 3D print lens boards etc
