So today I thought I’d try with a 35mm negative and found the grain easily, so at least I know it’s working. Guess I’ll just have to work on my technique for the 4x5, thanks for all the help.

Yes I pre focus then try the focuser, I wouldn’t know what to look for with the mirror setup

OK tried the a 7.5 watt bulb and that worked better, got a workable image but that was at 3 seconds with the light about 3-5 feet above. Need to go dimmer or try to get the light farther away
