    Re: 8x10 film holder confusion

They did take it back. The thing that confuses me is that the writing on the holder said 8x10 Fidelity Deluxe. If I head out somewhere on the world wide web and buy an 8x10 film holder, it will most...

    8x10 film holder confusion

So I bought an 8x10 film holder because I felt like building a pinhole. When I tried to put my 8x10 film in it, it didn't fit, because the holder is 18x24cm and the film is 20.3x25.4cm. They only had...

    Re: Wista bellows IR-proof?

I'm afraid it might fog something up, because this thing really shines bright like a sun. It might not be a problem with an R72 on the lens, but still. I have bought a newer one, maybe it's more...

Re: ?'s for owner of 8x10 chamonix

Would be great with some measurements. I have a friend who can build almost anything out of carbon fiber. A carbon fiber 8x10. How cool would that be?

    Re: Wista bellows IR-proof?

Didn't think about the holders at all, thanks for reminding me.
The bellows are indeed IR-proof, my IR camera saw nothing. The packard shutter for my petzval however, is nowhere near IR proof.

    Re: Wista bellows IR-proof?

Hmm, ok. So wouldn't it be possible to take a photo through the bellows with my digicam where i have removed the IR-blocking filter? I'd hate to waste my sheets of High speed infrared :D

    Wista bellows IR-proof?

Does anyone know if the standard + wide angle bellows for the Wista 45 VX (the metal one) are good for IR-film?

    Re: 8x10 sheet film

Have you tried http://www.macodirect.de/index.php or http://www.fotoimpex.de/shopen/ ? They do not have a lot of different films, but I think their prices are alright.

Re: Even "eaten crow"? I just did...

I like to try cameras too, but I tend to like it and keep it, or hate it but still keep it. Last thing I bought was a Fuji X100. I was very happy with it, but after a month of use, a huge speck of...

Re: Hasselblad back on Wista 45

I just measured the depth as good as i could do it. Looks like the film plane is 2mm away from the edge of the holder, so adding a 3mm piece of plastic on top of this would make it work, or does...

Re: Hasselblad back on Wista 45

It does have a Graflok back, It's the metal field camera, not a wooden Wista. But with a V adapter, it will only expose a small 6x6 part of the film. Since the back is just collecting dust at home, I...

    Re: AW: Canon Canoscan 9900f?

I just checked it, Silverfast on OS X 10.8 does not support the 9900f unfortunately. I guess it is a no-go. But Thomas, do you know any german sites for selling/buying used stuff?

    Cheers, Victor
