I'd say something simple like Midtone Machine AFP-4
I've been following along since the beginning and it's so impressive! A couple of questions, would you use standard reels or at some point use Jobo reels? the Jobo being smaller allow for smaller...

For those of you that use a DSLR to digitalize the negatives, there's an amazing tool that does all the color work. All in Lightroom. I've been using it for some weeks and it's impressive, non...

Looks like an expanded Travelwide, can use lenses from 45mm to 150mm

You can still save the image in post-processing. Not ideal but it can be done. The negative has enough information.

Some cameras are designed so that you can place the fresnel in between the lens and the ground glass with a proper slot to sit the fresnel. I remember reading that if your ground glass is fine then...

I've been using the app that comes with the Lumu Power and I'm quite impressed. The app is free but getting the Lumu Power will set you $300 back now... the app comes with a spot meter that uses the...
Here's another interesting kickstarter!

Yes that's a good point... or the already expensive Polaroid processors, not to mention the holders. I'm awfully tempted to support the project but I already have enough with my 4x5 and a workflow...
Already reached its goal!! Looks very interesting and they'll be making their own 8x10 film holders.

There's a free 3d model of the retainer in case somebody needs it

Thank you everybody! i wanted to use it to make some 4x6 contact prints. Nothing fancy at all. I'll toss it.
Somebody gave me an opened bag of Dektol, seems pretty full. I was wondering if there's a way to know if I can still use it? the person that gave it to me didn't know why it was opened to begin with....
Nice one Sir, because Hispanics don't speak English
Well at least Adorama still ships although doesn't have as much as B&H.
B&H should use Fedex for chemistry.
For those using the 65mm how many shims are you using? my 65mm came with two and I'm planning on just using those.
5 years perhaps if they reach the goal, maybe less... the whole point of this new kickstarter is to build machines to automate everything and then the prices can come down.
Ok I didn't read the whole thing. The last I've heard from them it was that New55 Color was going to be a positive only but hey that's great! even more exciting now.
Nope, no negative. It's only a positive.

Really exciting what the future might hold for us!
As far as I know yes, all of those were shipped. On their twitter they said they were working on a second batch, I'm sure we'll see something from them in the next couple of months.
Soon ebay is going to be floated with Travelwides and the price will have to come down lol
Wonderful! thank you everybody!
I did and I'm waiting to hear back from them. Yes, now I know better to be careful with those first-surface mirrors.
Ok, but there's not backing, the white you see in the middle is the tape, you can see already through. The front surface is the only coat on the glass. Thank you for the term, that helps me a lot!
I was cleaning the mirror surface of my reflex viewer (Shen-Hao) and then all the sudden the finish came off! to my surprise the finish is not on the back of the glass and it seems to be held in...
Are you doing all the focusing and composing at f5.6 and then stopping down to whatever you want to be at?
It's an excellent lens when used as a taking lens. The first one is at f22 and the other one is at f11. Have fun with the lens!

If you read through Catlabs updates and read carefully you realize there's no real plan, no real research, nothing about their R/D, just buy film. I want to be wrong but I have very little hope in...
I thought of a request or improvement to the design. I was thinking that it'd be handy to have grooves, like the 545i or alike, so that it can be used with international backs as well.
Wow, I wish I had your skills. That looks beautiful!
I want to thank everybody for the input! I'm getting one next week and looking forward to trying it out. Not looking forward to drilling the wooden frame but it'll be fine, that's what I keep saying...
I don't understand why is it so easy for some people to just drill some holes on the glass frame and for others is unmentionable! I like the reflex finder a lot and I'm tired of holding it in my hand...
That's the same one I have but unfortunately won't go over the two plates I have to put in order to secure the reflex viewer.
I don't want to put some screws on my field camera, I really don't but I can see myself using that reflex viewer, especially low angles, different perspectives. From the research I've done those...
