Palladium toned kallitypes are quite affordable, and very archival. A vacuum frame is probably the best method, IMHO.

Re: HC110 or Pyrocat HD for FP4

You probably can use the film at EI 100 with pyrocat - though your tests will prove the best speed. I use TF3 for fix.

I do not use a JOBO and tray develop. Like Ron I have always had good results. I'd try developing one negative in a tray. I think that can tell you if the developer is OK. Then go from there.

    Re: densitometer settings

    Hi Allen,

Typically you can use the blue reading or set the machine for vis (visual mode). Typical base and fog is 0.04 to 0.06 and speed would be 0.1 over. Have we overdeveloped our film?

Here is my 250 grams barn door shade. I ended up using 1/32 inch garolite for the panels. I found I can use on my RB67 also. Notice the small front flaps that are needed for the longer lenses.

I'll probably use an epoxy. If it works on ABS plastic I hope it will work on the garolite (roughed up with sandpaper). I am going to try to epoxy the garolite to the hinge.
