Watkinssr:
Nice image. Where is this?
Thanks,
Mike Hartfield
I store mine in a pillowcase in a somewhat-dark corner of my closet. Whenever I open an electronic product with a desiccant package, I date it, and throw it in the back of the Changing tent. 7...
Rick:
Really nice pix.

Chauncey: Thanks.
I'm thinking of moving to Utah...are there any E-6 labs to be recommended in either Utah or Colorado?
Thanks.
There's a Navy base in Ridgecrest / China Lake. It was a major WW2 Naval munitions (?) testing facility. I have no idea what goes on there now, but it's still open. Whether there are runways...
I keep mine in a cloth pillowcase, folded in quarters, in my clothes closet. 6 years so far, no problem.
I called North Coast on Friday for E-6, and they were processing. They've done well for me on E6.
Matt:
I like this image. It really "invites you" to take a walk over the bridge.
FWIW, Badger Graphic is showing 4x5 E100, $49, availability in 7-10 days...
Also, here's a printer forum I found that has a good amount of knowledge:

6x7 or 4x5 ... it's still an amazing photo... :-)
Nice. The clouds are perfect.
What's a Lee Big Blocker?
Thanks. No, I have a lab in Carlsbad, CA, North Coast Photo, process all my stuff. They've been very consistent. I shoot 4 sheets, 2 @ N, 1 +¾, 1 -¾, then process one at a time.
Bill:
Just seeing your photo for the first time. Straight-on looks very nice. How recent is your photo? When I was there, the Cross was missing...
Mark:
Your photo makes me want to get back...
Thank you for the link on the Marconi Wireless Station. It's very interesting reading.
OP says he'll be here October 25 - November 9.
Probably too late for Sierra Nevada Fall Color, unless it happens late and there is some at the lower elevations around Bishop. AFXStudio: to...
Jim: Thanks. BTW, in case you don't know, Caltrans is converting the last "non-freeway" portion of CA 58 that runs through Four Corners into a Freeway. Overpasses are being built ... might be...
Jim:
What is your recommended route-of-travel from LA to Tonopah? Up 395 through Bishop & US 6, or I15 to Baker, up through Shoshone to US95? Or some other way? I have Tonopah on my list of...
Thanks. That's good to know. There's a large Joshua Tree field between there and Searchlight that I need to re-visit, and it's good to know that I have an alternative to Searchlight. Anyone ever...
I've stayed at the Virgin River. No resort fees. Basic but nice. The last time I stayed in Primm, Terribles Casino had bought them, and the room was very poor. I wouldn't stay there again. At...
What time are you arriving? LAX is on the west side of LA ... you will need to drive all the way through the LA Freeways to get out. It's been a while since I've navigated this, so someone else...
There can be good to great Fall Foliage in the California Sierra Nevada, but you will most likely be too late. The arrival of Fall Colors is not consistent year-to-year. Have you been to the...
:-) No ... (I think.) "Governments" is being used in the plural. :-)
Bob:
You may not like this answer, and this is part of the complexities that the Supreme Court addressed by talking about the simplicities of South Dakota. Both WA & CA law is complex, and they...
Although I live in California, I'm not a sales tax expert. But, I did receive a communication from the California Sales Tax people (CDTFA, formerly the Board of Equalization) that made it sound like...
I bought mine used, from Samys here in LA, but it looked like a one owner, used once & stored in the attic. It came with a bag bellows that I used for a 90MM and never had any problems, including...
This was immensely helpful to me, as I was trying to figure this out last week. Thank You!
We've had a LOT of rain, so the ground at the lower elevations is soaked. Most of the storms this year have come from the northwest, rather than the southwest, so they are colder with much less...
I have what I think is a D45M, beige, where one cap unscrews and a 6 inch (or so) extension rail can be attached into a fitting that is inside the tube.
However, on a second D45 that I bought for...
In my "real" life, :-) , I'm an accountant with a business practice. It's been a while, but PayPal was very difficult to deal with on the accounting side, and, after some difficulty, came to the...
Maybe you've solved your problem, but ...I took my D45M apart and compared it to your pix. In pix #1, the fresnel is on the top, and in pix #3, it's on the bottom? The only thing I could see: the...
Your image works very well.
Nice!
If you are talking about post #29, I can see the image.
Nice picture. I like the way the road frames the bottom part of the image.
This looks really nice. The exposure time, for me, is close to perfect. You can still tell it's "water." :-)
Very Impressive!
Thank you for mentioning this. I rarely visit the home page. Next time I order from B&H, I'll do so through the link.
