The Dagor style G Claron 210 has the 40.5mm filter size. The plasmat style is 49mm. It took me a long time to find one.....but it's a great lens.

Re: Pyrocat HD solution B question

tf, Pyrocat is indeed a fine developer. I've used it as my standard for over a decade now. With rollfilm, I agitate (gently) for the first 30 sec then 10 sec/min....though with just one photo to go...

    Re: Inexpensive 4x5 field cameras

Maybe. With new(er) LF users there seems to be a carryover from small cameras especially digital... the buy/upgrade cycle... that involves shopping & changing gear. You can very easily buy a view...

    Re: Inexpensive 4x5 field cameras

Ben, In my opinion, if you're getting into LF, you're better off not looking for the cheapest, but look for a solid 'average' camera. Wista, & Toyo, as well as older model Linhofs,... or wood fields...

There is little likelihood of your camera being confiscated. Travelling with an item seems to be very different than shipping something, where paperwork becomes a nightmare.
