    I was going to say the same thing as Bernice. You might want to consider the 360mm Heliar - that is what I use on my 8 x 10. You might not get much movement at all with the 300mm.

    Yes, this is half of a 1940's era Petzval projection lens used as a meniscus. I love this little meniscus lens for portrait type of work as it gives a lot of coverage and works great for 8 x 10 work.
