  1. Re: Your Best Photograph from the Previous Month - Critique and Discussion Encouraged

This is subtle for sure. I like it as well.
  2. Re: Your Best Photograph from the Previous Month - Critique and Discussion Encouraged

Looks a bit surreal and ominus like a dream that fades away as you wake the way it goes from in focus to blur as you move farther into the scene until it is hard to know what you are looking at. ...
  3. Re: Your Best Photograph from the Previous Month - Critique and Discussion Encouraged

I like the smooth, glass like water and the way your funneled into the center of the scene and then back out into the open water. You seem to accelerate towards the center and then slow down once...

    Re: Large Format Landscapes

Well, I don't usually salvage a color image by making it bw, but in this case it sorta did. By far, not the best, but it does highlight just how difficult it is to shoot the Grand Canyon. Didn't...

That is how quickly the light changes at the Canyon. I can take 5 shots within 10 minutes and each one will be different. I was also pointed about 45 degrees to the right from the previous shot.

  39. Re: Your Best Photograph from the Previous Month - Critique and Discussion Encouraged

  40. Re: Your Best Photograph from the Previous Month - Critique and Discussion Encouraged

Edit Looks a bit muddy and washed out. Crop is too tight for me in this case. The Canyon is an intense place with intense views that are dramatic and I don't get that feeling from edit.
