  1. Re: How do I recognize lenses that will cover an 8X10 plate with no vignetting

I got to play with a 165mm Super Angulon once.
IIRC, it weighed as much as my first automobile LOL!
A Wollensak 159mm EWA will cover 8x10 with little or no wiggle room.
  2. Re: How do I recognize lenses that will cover an 8X10 plate with no vignetting

Wide lenses for Architecture with an 8x10presents an interesting challenge.
Nearly every Architecture specialist who shoots 4x5 has a 90mm in the stable
You can bet money on that.

I've two Dagors (12" & 19") and both are keepers.
    Also two Artars (14" & 19")
    Goerz made some terrific stuff!
And mine do cover 8x10 nicely

It looks like the board is defective, not just the bevel.

    Deadly hike----Haz-Mat the cause?

If I had the $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$, a Honda Ridgeline would be tempting.
