    Speed Graphic for handheld work with a 203mm Ektar on the snout.
    An Agfa Ansco for tripod work with either a 159mm Wolly WA, 215mm Ilex or 14" Artar up front.

    Yup!
    My son just returned from Yosemite Valley. He reported the falls are cooking, still no skeeters but the gnats are out and no crowds during the week.

    My son was on El Capitan yesterday. He reported that the falls are indeed doing their thing and the mosquitos still absent(that was yesterday...today, who knows?)

    IIRC some of the tent cabins at Camp Curry still have heaters. The deluxe tent cabins that were also insulated were removed around 2015 because it was thought they attracted Hanta spreading critters

    Have you knocked your front end out of alignment yet? If not, it's probably adequate.
    Firebreaks, once they start to washboard, really do a number on front ends before long.

    I've had 4WDs and will get another one next time 'round.
    There are too many good places beyond where the pavement ends
    Even if you never have to put it in 4WD the front ends are generally heavier...

    Like others have said, a lot depends on if Tioga Pass is open. If not, Yosemite Valley is your oyster.

    In Placerville a few years back, a client had a cougar rip open a heavy gauge steel mesh kennel one night to feast on his unfortunate dog.
    A rare attack for sure, but I doubt if that was any comfort...
