    Re: Wide Lenses for 4x5 & 8x10: 90mm to 165mm

Be aware, areas of the sky are naturally polarized, other areas are not. If you use a polarizer with an extreme wide angle lens and capture wide areas of sky you will end up with darker and lighter...

  10. Re: Using a Rodenstock Centre Filter on a Schneider Lens?

It’s not a problem with Heliopan, Rodenstock or Schneider center filters.
  11. Re: Using a Rodenstock Centre Filter on a Schneider Lens?

That is just an empty 67mm filter ring. Much too thick for the problem.

Re: Ebay - lenses from Japan

No, German lenses use Japanese shutters ever since Prontor Werke discontinued their shutters. Most German lenses over the past half century also used Japanese shutters as they were as reliable but...

  15. Re: Anyone know the story on when the Master Technika became the Master Technika Clas

The Master Technika was never discontinued. They added Classic to the name when they introduced the 3000.

The EMS did not work and they were all recalled by the factory.
    We had one or two...

    Re: 210mm 4x5" ... Which one?

Your history has big holes in it.
Back in 76 EPOI was the US distributor of Sinar as well as Nikon. I was with EPOI back then. We primarily “sold” Schneider lenses as our competitor, Berkey Photo...

    Re: Inexpensive 4x5 field cameras

One reason accessories for a TK are relatively rare is because so many features were built in that they weren’t necessary.

    Re: Insurance Questions

You wouldn’t want your social security number all over the place today. Your last name would be enough.
  33. Re: Lens boards for Wista 45D - same as Technica?

It is in the same position as Linhof’s boards so when all camera movements are zeroed the lens is centered on the film.

Looks like you have a lens from a Liesegang opaque projector.
  35. Re: Lens boards for Wista 45D - same as Technica?

As long as the LInhof board is for the IV, or later, it fits the Wista. If it is from a III it will not fit.
