Northwest camera says it repairs Sinar

I did that using small pieces of wood. It worked just fine. Glad you found Fred’s instructions. - my drawing ability is not very good.
He glued (I think) the adapter to the back of the lensboard above the lens.
Fred Picker made a little U-shaped piece from spring steel. It extended a bit farther back than the rear lens element. He used a magnet to hold the filter gel in place behind the lens.
One shot is how I use Pyrocat.
Those PSA rules camera clubs use drive me crazy. A landscape cannot contain the hand of man. Tell that to Edward Weston.
Porter’s setup
Go to Graflex.org and ask. Take anything 45PSS (I think that’s right) says as gospel.

I’d suggest you also download the trial version on Capture One. I can’t put the why into words, but I like the way it renders colors better than Photoshop. There are a lot of videos on how to get...
I’m thinking hanging the camera in a pannier might reduce some of the shock. Any thoughts?
I found a plastic shelf, two tiered, at a thrift store. It fits perfectly in my bathtub and raises the developer traps to a good height. Being plastic, it’s impervious to my chemicals and water. I...
Nice one, Doug
DLee, nothing at all wrong with those. Many recommend them. In fact, it’s good to start with standard chemicals. Change them only when and if you need something different.
I use hangers and Pyrocat HD. I think, but can’t prove, that the developer hardens the emulsion and reduces scratches.
I carry my cargo ebike on a Harbor Freight motorcycle rack. It’s rated for 400-pounds.
My original plenum is plastic. I made another from aquarium air line tubing and glued it down to pieces of an under gravel filter to provide the distance above the tank bottom.
X-ray film has to be learned just as any film does. Used within its limitations, it works well.
I have a plenum from an old camera store setup for the 3.5 gallon tank. The downward tube ends in a T fitting and the gas tubing in the tank is a continuous, though zig-saggy loop, not a dead end...
For Sinar, try Northwest Camera

I had that work done by Charles Monday - he’s 45PSS on graflex.org and shutterfinger on Photrio. He doesn’t post here.
In the early 70s I was shooting a Yashica TLR when I saw a magazine article on the Zone System. It immediately made sense to me. Shortly after, I saw Adams’ five little books in a store. Reading...
I’m interesting in knowing what modifications you made to the hangers.
There’s a thread on photrio about using D23 1:10 with .5g sodium hydroxide per liter of working strength added.
Doremus, I have lots of old Lisco and Riteway holders in 4x5. Over the 40-years I’ve used them, I’ve double loaded a number of times. I can’t tell which specific holder. Films I specifically...
Our member Ken Lee has an excellent article on his website on how to set up software for scanning.

Welcome, post often.
Back when a poor woman was trying to put up with me as my wife, I had no fancy timer for printing. I dug out my metronome, set it at 60bpm, and counted out my exposures. As a musician, a ticking...
Thanks. I’m thinking of a metal camera, though the wood camera solutions are good to post, too. When I looked on Loctite’s website, I didn’t see the purple or green anymore. I do see them on...
I’ve had small screws work their way out of various view cameras. I’d like to prevent that, but retain the ability to get them out when I want. I see that Sinar recommends Loc-Tite, though the...
Warning - there is Sinar creep. First a Sinar, then a few extra lens boards, then a bag bellows, next you’re shopping for the little kit that lets you use the extra bellows to shade the lens, then a...
That looks right to me. I’d only add to be sure the camera is more or less level front to back when operating the Grafmatic so the springs and gravity can move the septums properly.
I use the same times as I used with HD and don’t see any significant difference.
I use Kodak tanks and regular hangers.
Thinking about that, esearing may be right. I’ve developed hundreds of EMA negatives without bromide drag, but I’m using Pyrocat P and M which do not have the KBr.
Welcome, post often from a fellow Sinar user (and Graflex, and Wehman, and Nikon, and Mamiya - do I have too many cameras?_
To emphasize- you do not cock the shutter on T.
What jnantz said.
Oslolens, that is correct. Focus first, add the filter, refocus. Or add the filter and focus for a single time. Some say simple gel filters don’t require refocusing.
I’ll point out that Sinar...
