    It doesnt look coated to me. Could be but I dont think so.

    I had one that B&J had coated and that was easy to spot.

    BTW...the old tape label on it reads "When using soft focus lens go to 50 watt seconds"

    Is this an elusive SA Doublet series III?

    Its only markings are "P&S SA Doublet" on one side of the barrel and "61/2 x 81/2- 14" Serial#1021"

    Its in a #4 studio shutter with a max aperture...

    Yes, the focal length is 12"

    The front and rear elements are both about 75mm diameter.

    135123I just picked up what apperas to be a Pinkham Smith visual quality lens with an odd serial number.

    Its #632870

    Can anyone confirm if its a real Pinkam Smith lens135122
