Memory was spot on for once. Tilt the rear frame back to expose the serial number underneath on the left side.
Works on my 8x10 2D, maybe it's the same on your 7x17.
Very nice!
Same place as a 2D? If nobody else chimes in, I’ll get my 8x10 out tomorrow and let you know where to look.
I was able to ID my 2D as a 1948. As far as I recall, you have to use rear swing or tilt...
Agreed, Alan. The fact that Epson’s film holders are adjustable for height suggests that is the case.
I concluded the same. I measured this to be a height of 4mm or 5/32".
Looks great, Tri!
Round lens boards??? That’s awesome!
For a direct comparison, why not 11x14 vs 8x20? 154 vs 160 square inches?
If you just want a 40% ratio option, you can always shoot two 4x10s on a single sheet of 8x10 using a 4x10 splitter.

Ingenious!
Agree with Dugan and Karl. Could be some wood glue and a couple of screws will repair this, but it’s hard to tell w/o more pictures of the damage to the rear frame.
If yours is like this one http://www.piercevaubel.com/cam/scovill/agfa.htm
I suggest removing the lower support brackets before straightening them. If you try straightening them while attached you...
I decided my Ikeda Anba 4x5 has been languishing in my closet for far too long as I've been favoring my stripped-down Crown Graphic 4x5 for its ruggedness and rough-and-readiness. Part of the ...
Awesome Merg!
Awesome!!!
Holy sh*t, Scott, you’re loaded for bear!
Beano_z, that’s an awesome collection!
Congrats!
I used to have a trf model, but no more. You might want to try the help board at Graflex.org.
Thanks! The 11x14 Provia I have expired in 2011. I don't know if Fuji will cut special orders or not. The story I heard was this was a special order from Disney. I think Keith Canham can still get...

Awesome job, Alan! The Lancaster and Thornton, in particular, are beauties!
Awesome, Steve! Can't wait to see what you consider to be a portfolio shot.
Feel free to email me any questions. I’ll be happy to answer whatever I can.
Dann, fwiw, I concur. The specs are on pp.5 and 17 of the catalog linked by my Pastafarian brother Rick A, above.
Sorry you got a rude response to your question.
Awesome, Hugo! What format, and what’s that big honkin’ lens?
'k, done. Here's the link: https://www.largeformatphotography.info/forum/showthread.php?36782-Show-off-your-Large-Format-camera!&p=1568774&viewfull=1#post1568774
Naked Crown Graphic--a stripped down version of the classic press camera. (I didn't make up this term, but it seems apropos for a stripped down camera).
What I bought--camera body, no lens, no...
David, thanks, and glad you asked. Stay tuned, I’ll post some pics and an explanation in the Show Off Your LF Camera thread in the Cameras sub forum after coffee...

Finished the ground glass frame! This took a little while--it is five layers thick, two 1/8th and one 3/32 to get the correct T depth under the GG, then 1/16th and 1/32 mahogany veneer to fit around...
Looks great, Barry! Congrats!
Thanks!
I got the mahogany veneer for the spring back ripped, chopped, and cemented into place. Came out rather well, I think.
Also glued the 1/4 deep light trap onto the inside of the back.
I've got...

Agreed! We have some really good local street artists whose lettering, shadowing, etc. is outstanding.
Here’s one inspirational story: https://303magazine.com/2018/10/tuke-denver-graffiti/
Personally, I have no plans to sell an image of street art, so I have no copyright cares. I am, however, in the process of collecting as many images as I can find of a handful of street artists...

Thanks Lasse!
I shot a second sheet at 1/5, and there's remarkably (to my eye) little difference in the two speeds.
