    FYI, you can put together a PC and use a number of SCSI cards that are proven to play nicely with Howtek scanners. All that for half the cost of a Ratoc SCSI-USB adapter alone.

    You can't run FST4500.exe from Windows XP. You need to make a system floppy disk, boot the computer off the floppy disk and then run FST.

    Replacing Fusion drive with a SSD in an iMac is not something you can do on your own without voiding warranty (besides the fact that it involves a few steps that could easily damage the computer).
