    Re: Post yer 35mm shots!

    Thank you, Greg.
Interestingly (for some), this is full-on harsh sun. I shot a roll of Rollei IR400 with a Red #29 filter.
I added a skin softening filter on a layer, and mixed in about 20% of...

    Will,
I don't know about their long-term durability, but I've read some good things about these tents: https://www.ebay.com/itm/194077776696?hash=item2d2fefdb38:g:hRQAAOSwaCtd15WA

Considered that, Peter. But I'd like to get images done in-camera as much as possible, and not spend more time on the computer.

    Re: Digital IR

I bit the bullet and bought an older Sony A-mount camera and lens and will have it converted professionally.
I'm going to get a full 830nm or 850nm B&W conversion done, as I don't want to mess with...

    Re: Rollei Infrared 400

If you use the Reciprocity app, it has data on Rollei IR400.
Using a rangefinder camera is great. Mine has AE and AF, so I set the ASA to 200, and shoot with the IR72 filter attached.

    Re: Rollei Infrared 400

Wow, those are some long exposures!
Most of my Rollei IR400 shots are done on a 35mm rangefinder, exposures between 1/3s and 1/25s, and mostly handheld.
I can get shorter shutter speeds with the...

My times vary, Bryan. I've had slightly different results, though equally satisfying, at 8 minutes and 9 minutes using that dilution.

Some shots around the house or on a walk.
I absolutely love the Contax G Zeiss lenses. These were all taken using the 21mm Biogon.

The great work on this thread has me considering a converted digital camera, but I don't think anyone converts digital cameras to higher than 850nm.

Re: Ilford SFX200 - Wratten #29 or IR filter?

There is no real infrared film anymore, there are only fair-to-decent substitutes.
I find SFX to be the "weakest" of the currently available IR films, and Rollei IR400 to be the most IR-sensitive....

You already compensated for the filter by opening 3 stops.
I don't think you need to adjust your processing. Develop normally, 100 ASA time.
