    Zone VI paper developer

    Thanks!

Zone VI is actually a nice developer and very inexpensive.

If it has extra hydroquinone, I guess I can expect other developers such as ansco 130 or BW-65 to be softer than Zone VI.

    Zone VI paper developer

Anyone know what's in the Zone VI paper developer? I've used it for years and would like to try something new. But first it would help to know what I've been using all these years.

    Alkaline Fixers

    That's also something I wondered:

With an acidic fixer, stop is necessary to neutralize the alkaline developer in order to extent the life of the acidic fixer.

If both the fixer and developer...

    D76 vs HC110

Only a few people on this list mention HC110; there are many references to D76.

I use HC110. My impression is that D76 is a non-compensating developer and might produce higher contrast,...

    Bergger film

I hear the bergger film is supposed to behave more like the older films such as Kodak Super XX which I have not used.

Has anyone tried it with HC110? How does it compare to TRI-X?

    I would love...

    TMAX or the New TRI-X

Now that I have run out of the old tri-x, I have to adjust to either the new Tri-x which I find to be a lower contrast film or make the jump to Tmax.

    "New TRI-X" 320TXP

I am running out of the old tri-x pan professional 4x5 film. I just bought a box of the "new tri-x".
