Zone VI is actually a nice developer and very inexpensive.
If it has extra hydroquinone, I guess I can expect other developers such as ansco 130 or BW-65 to be softer than Zone VI.

Anyone know what's in the Zone VI paper developer? I've used it for years and would like to try something new. But first it would help to know what I've been using all these years.

I use HC110. My impression is that D76 is a non-compensating developer and might produce higher contrast,...
I hear the bergger film is supposed to behave more like the older films such as Kodak Super XX which I have not used.
Has anyone tried it with HC110? How does it compare to TRI-X?
I would love...
Now that I have run out of the old tri-x, I have to adjust to either the new Tri-x which I find to be a lower contrast film or make the jump to Tmax.
I am going to try to increase my development...

I took several identical exposures using both films and developed them all in HC-110 B for 6...
