  3. Re: Film and winter temperature swings going on location

that's the opposite of what you should do. going from hot to cold, you need to minimize the amount of warm, moist air trapped in your gear or the moisture will condense out as the trapped air cools...
  4. Re: Where can I get a 5x4 dichroic enlarger or darkroom in the UK

read the title of the thread. and you're still wrong, even some "regular" flashes without hss can do hss with added circuitry. read the thread.

Re: High-Speed Sync for Speed Graphic

i'm sure there are occasional exceptions, but if you don't need a fp shutter a crown graphic is smaller and lighter and way cheaper. there's no advantage to choosing a speed over a crown other than...

Re: High-Speed Sync for Speed Graphic

well obviously, but not all lenses come with shutters or shutters that do 1/1000s. nobody's buying a speed graphic unless they intend to use the fp shutter.

Re: Aspect ratio of 10x8 and 5x4?

we're discussing photography here, not cinema, and even in your "exception" people still commonly refer to video aspect ratios as 16:9, 4:3, etc..

Re: Aspect ratio of 10x8 and 5x4?

typically people only reduce it to the smallest whole numbers, with a bit of rounding off if necessary, since that's the easiest to work with.
