    Re: Repairing a Sinar P2

    Re: Repairing a Sinar P2

Bob Watkins has had one of my cameras for over 2 years. He won't return it. I've tried everything I could think of to get it back. No luck. I've heard the same thing from a number of people.

    Re: Repairing a Sinar P2

Never force anything with a Sinar. If something doesn't close or move with minimum force, then something is wrong.

    Here's a service manual for a Sinar P. (I don't think I have one for a P2)....

Re: Wet Mount Scanning - Fluid lines?

In my experience, fluid mounting on a flat bed mostly impacts how grain is rendered, and it's a good way to keep film flat. But.....I no longer wet-mount on a flatbed. With my equipment, any...

    Re: Tiny Format Image Stacking

  30. Re: Scanning Provia/transparencies with a digital camera: ICC profiling?

Use 'camera neutral 2' instead of the Adobe standard profile.

You can use Wolf Faust's IT8 targets to make icc files....but Lightroom doesn't use ICC files. (Capture 1 does.)

    Since you use...
