  1. Re: Epson Expression 12000XL Photo Scanner experiences?

I have access to a 10000Xl and it *just fits* 7x17 negatives. Have gang scanned 8x10 on it, but you need board flat film to do that. Otherwise I place a sheet of AN glass on the film, which is placed...

Re: 8x10 Polariod Portrait Prices ???

I think it can be hit or miss, but some of my stock from 2014, processed, and looked fine. Doesn't mean the box beside it will do as well though. With these films, all one has to do is check the pods...

Re: 8x10 Polariod Portrait Prices ???

If you plan on using instant 8x10, then you unless you have one, figure on spending bucks for the electric processor, or huge $$ for the manual one. I find the powered processor more consistent in...

Contact KHB Photografix for the Devere Autofocus manual. He also has the Troubleshooting Guide as well. The keypad should also control variable contrast filtration as well, and/or CMY filtration.

Interesting. The new one is cheaper, AND, it appears to be made in North America since it qualifies for NAFTA. Might explain the price difference ? At that price I'd buy a bottle and compare it to...

    Greg Y,

I'd ask Jacques at Argentix if he can get it for you. Not sure where he sources his stuff but I've ordered Pyrocat HD glycol from him and the price was fair.

    Re: Straight Edges

does your cutter ride on rails ? logan makes larger cutters that aren't going to cost an arm or a leg. I use a Fletcher 2100 or Keencut Ultimat (like the latter better).
  11. Re: Jobo 2509n issue: rotates freely on center spindle

that doesn't look good at all. I also wouldn't glue the reels to the post, if that's what you were thinking of doing. try tape, or buy new posts from B&H or Freestyle.
  12. Re: Jobo 2509n issue: rotates freely on center spindle

my reels are snug to the post, which also acts as a light baffle. For rotary processing they shouldn't move freely around the post since that would have an affect on the film receiving chemistry....
  13. Re: What portable lighting equipment do you use when your shoot portraits outside stu

I currently have Einsteins with Vagabonds for remote work. If I did it all over, would go Profoto if money was no object. Otherwise Godox.
