    Yes, LInhof could and do that long extension. Sold a system to Dixie cup to do 1:1 on 810 with a 420mm or 480 with extension left over.

    Speaking as a Sinar rep for EPOI in the mid 70s and then as the LInhof rep afterward till 4 years ago there are multiple reasons why Sinar was so predominant starting in the mid 70s in North America....

    Not quite, it depends on the camera. Some, like Sinar, use two points for their assymetricc tilts. If they are not the lines you want you. Need to rise/fall to make them lie on those points.

    Not quite the “fastest” 45. Any LInhof that accepts the LInhof 45 Vacuum Roll back could shoot up to 60 45 shots a second apart at speeds to 1/500 at 1fps.

    Guess you never used an Imagon. It changes focus with each disk setting used. So you have to focus at your choice of setting, not widen open.
