Badger Graphic is showing it now too.
Ilford still hasn't posted the official announcement.
EDIT: threads merged.

I just received an email from Silverprint in the UK announcing that this year's Ilford special order period is open, with ordering deadline Friday, August 19 and shipping anticipated starting early...
Mostly Archival Methods here too at this point. Sometimes Hollinger.
Hayashi-san: thanks so much for asking and for posting this. I've renamed the thread - sometimes it makes sense to be polite by indirection, but this one should be labeled explicitly so that it...

You can talk about the weather all you want. As soon as someone tries to turn it into a thread about global warming, it's done.

Good information, thanks. So that leaves us the mystery of having a convertible-marked 240mm f/6.8 in a #1 shutter.
vBulletin 4 does not support attachment of local image files to PMs. If you'd like to attach pictures you'll need to communicate via email.
AFAIK, the mega-coverage Computars/Kowas are all marked for f/9 and are not factory-labeled as convertible. This f/6.8 convertible looks to be a different animal.
I think the Symmetrigons were only 150/180/210 focal lengths and f/6.3 maximum aperture. I've never seen mention of a 240 Symmetrigon.
Here is a large format photographer of whom I was previously unaware:

She has a small book out that was featured in photo-eye's weekly email:

Re 5x7, long ago the now-defunct dealer "The F Stops Here" listed for sale second-hand a one-off "5x7 Compact II clone", described as follows: "This is a custom built 5x7 Field...
4x5 yes, 5x7 no. I wrote a review of the 4x5 for Photo Techniques magazine way back when. The design is different from that of his 8x10 and ULF cameras - same floating front standard, but the rear...

IIRC he was especially active maybe 15-25 years ago.

I do not know whether this website, which appears to be the company's own sales outlet, is a reliable vendor. But FWIW:

What Brian said. Many small- and medium-format lenses have five-bladed diaphragms, and some shutters for view camera lenses do as well. For example, I have an old 90mm f/8 Super-Angulon in Compur...
Took a look just now, see that MG Express PF has vanished from the Ilford website - perhaps discontinued. As the data sheet is no longer available from the website I'll attach a copy that I saved -...

That's what brand-name caps cost - it's not just Schneider. However, if you look at the lens cap listings at B&H, for every Schneider cap there's usually also a Kaiser cap in the same size and it's...

As mentioned, the 355 G-Claron has monster coverage, at least when stopped way down. I've used the 360 Apo-Symmar on 11x14 - the image circle is large enough to allow decent room for movement. Note...
