Re: Banff and Jasper in mid Sept. 2022

Just returned from my trip to Banff and Jasper with some 30 exposed 810 FP4 negatives.

    A few things to mention:

    1. I had no problem at Santa Ana airport asking for hand inspections of my...

    Gord and Ray,

Thanks for this information. We will spend one night in Jasper in about two weeks and hopefully things will be better then. Canmore and Banff are Ok, I guess?

Re: Banff and Jasper in mid Sept. 2022

If I take their premium cruise which has 30 minutes stop on Spirit Island and starts at 5:00pm, I need to know if sunset scene is good enough to justify it.

Re: Banff and Jasper in mid Sept. 2022

Thank you guys for all the suggestions.

One more question: The cruise to Spirit Island. I was tempted, but it seems not worth it to carry my tripod and 810 camera for 20 minutes stop there. Right?

Wait, I thought her book Deep South is all about landscapes. Some quite impressive plates.

  15. Re: New FLM Ultralight Tripod for 8x10 and smaller

    G,

I use a J head with the bowl as it is smaller than A250. The Ries head adds some height to the FLM tripod which is nice. If I plan a long hike, I just take the Ries head off to reduce the...

I have a 14" Trigor with No. 1100014 and both engraving on front and back are exactly the same as yours. My lens was in barrel and I had it mounted on a Compur 3 shutter.

I have a 7 1/2 inch Cooke F/3.5 lens that covers 4x5. I guess 5 inch can cover 3x4 without movement for portraits.
